I can assist. Not sure with what... Bob, what do you say, can you and I assist with this? We are in contact with a lot of legendry freestylers and you have been there since the birth of skateboarding. Let's talk via email how e best can assist.

Just want to let you know that I have posted some information about accommodations on the site:
http://blog.phillyfreestyle.com/
I will post more options in the up coming weeks but this is a start! :)

Also I wanted to post 2 corrections:

1) The date is the 18th-19th of September, it is a Saturday and Sunday it is posted as such on the 2010 WC site but not the Forum site as of yet, please note.

2) The surface area, I was just down there today surveying the area and it is actually bigger then what I estimated almost 5,000 squ ft bigger!
Total area is 120 x125 ft =15,000 squ ft. or 38.1 x 36.57 m=1393.317 sq. meters!
So good news there is more room to play!

I made a scale model already of the area and how it will be broken up I think you will all be pleased it features:
Practice area: 40 x 50ft or 12.192 x 15.24m
Competitors rest area: 10 x 30ft or 3.048 x 9.144m
Trade show area: 60 x 125ft or 18.288 x 38.1m
Competition area: 60 x 50 (it maybe up to 70 x 50 depending on stage/press area)

Great! Good news!

But, I think the competition area should be at least 80 or 90 long. Like how it was in Brazil and Canada.

Here is a top view of the space

When I get some more items solid I will most likely do one in 3D but we will see! ;)

Hope everyone is doing well and working on there runs!

BTW:
We almost have 30 confirmed in the Pro Division including a couple great local street skaters
At least 10 Masters Division competitors, 5 Girls riders possibly 6, and about 15 Am riders so far!

If you haven't signed up yet what are you waiting for?! Where there is a will there is a way get there as this is shaping up to be one for the record books!

Look's REALLY great! Looks like a mini 'Crossroads' actually. I did not know about the booth area. I have Surf & Skate Vending and would be very interested in being a vendor.

Is is possible to make the competition area longer, about 80-90 long, by making the practice area a bit narrower?

Looks really good with th different areas!

Bob: Glad you like the trade show area, I figured it would be a good way for the industry and the public to mingle as well as shops network with the companies directly. Not to mention it shows these reps that Freestyle is alive and well and they should get behind it as it is skateboarding!
It helps out everyone!
If you have people interested send me their information and I will send them an informational packet as well as a map / prices etc. to get involved. Great work!

Lillis: Your such a stickler for space! :) We didn't have that much space in Japan and you skated the best I have ever seen you skate in a contest! Everyone else can skate a bigger space except you!

Joking aside it is 84 ft long as it is, I was considering a judges stage and competitors area in that area as well but if I get rid of the bleacher on the end and have the judges there and push the competitors tent slightly up or to the side we could have a 80ft area. but 90+ is pushing it as we already have 60+ riders signed up and they are going to need area(s) to skate.
I may even make one by the trade show area because kids are going to want to skate especially with everyone there these kids are going to lose their minds!

Great comments and ideas as I look forward to keeping things rolling here to make this one the best one ever! Vancouver 86" I coming for you!

Any news on Philly?

Unfortunately the Paderborn 2010 date is now changed - 2 weeks before Philly: 5 Sept.
